Shalom, and happy morning to you. Once your feet are on the path Yah desires you to walk, you must never stray from it. You must stand sentry once you have awakened to the truth, guarding the path of righteousness as we are commanded to. And what does a guard do? He or she constantly watches for trouble and makes his or her patrol in order to properly secure whatever he or she has charge over. In other words, this path, this walk is a thing of great value, and it will invite attacks from the enemy, who views it as a threat to his own empire.

With this in mind, it falls to us to seek the guidance and protection of Yah with our all, as he is the only one who can continually fuel us. But once we have taken in his laws and his entire Word, storing it in our hearts so that it becomes a part of who we are, it will be very difficult to stray from the path and sin against the Most High. Then we will guard our way with our very lives.

9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. 10 With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments! 11 I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
