For those who fear Yah, he does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. Those who serve Yah, who fear him by striving to live righteously, are not treated the same as blatant sinners who purposely trample his law without remorse. While they are, and will be, punished to the full extent, Yah does not mete out punishment to those who fear him equal to the sins they have committed in the past. While we are all punished for our sins, sincere repentance and servitude softens the blow considerably, and we are able to draw from the well of mercy Yah has stored up for those who love him by being obedient.
And once true repentance has occurred, and you have fully turned from wickedness and rebellion, Yah covers your sins and casts them aside after you endure a light punishment for those sins. In this, Yah’s compassion for the faithful is unfathomable. But one particular Psalm sums it up best.
10 He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us. 13 As a father shows compassion to his children, so Yah shows compassion to those who fear him. 14 For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.
