Shalom, and happy morning to you. We use the words “I love you” considerably in this world, but our concept and understanding of what love truly is remains skewed, because we are infinitely below the lofty levels of Yah, whose love is almost beyond comprehension. 1 John 4:8 tells us that “Elohim is love.” Yes, Yah is love itself, therefore his motivations and plans, and even the outworking of his innermost desires are powered by love. When he punishes, it is in love. When he destroys, it is in love, and that love is also coupled with mercy, as this is what the seat he sits on is named.

The only thing Yah cannot love himself, is evil. So, those who cling to evil will be rooted out and destroyed so that his spiritual environment can remain pure for all those he loves, who truly appreciate purity and righteousness. It is those souls, the ones who are faithful to him, who receive the sum total of his love and mercy. Everything that is not in line with Yah’s will is considered a hindrance and a stain that must be removed. And in his mercy he patiently works to remove the stain of sin from our lives. For those who allow this loving process to unfold, the following is true:

22 The steadfast love of Yah never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
