Shalom, and happy morning to you. Everyone has a purpose. This is how Yah created us. The vast difference between each of us as individuals, however, is this: not everyone gets to fulfill their purpose in this life. Some may think they are fulfilling their purpose through a particular career or educational path, among other things, but Yah alone knows what our true purpose is, and it is he who must fulfill it in our lives after first revealing it to us.

When we serve him with our all, he extends his protection to us, guarding us against trouble both seen and unseen. And if enemies rise up against us, he delivers us from them. At all costs, he preserves the lives of those who serve him in order that they might be around to fulfill their purpose; the purpose he himself has placed within them. Rather than forcing our own purpose on ourselves through our own will, as his servants, we must wait for him to equip and train us for our true purpose, which he will reveal in time. And then we must allow him to guide us toward that purpose. Only then will we be efficient and effective in his great cause.

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me. 8 Yah will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Yah, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.
