Doing the will of Yah can only be achieved by keeping his laws, and not by doing what we think will please him.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. Pretty much everyone has their standard of what is righteous; people tend to measure what is righteous with rules found outside of Scripture. They begin to see moral activity and wholesome fare as righteous, rather than what Scripture defines as such. So, someone might think that taking their family to the zoo for the Sabbath is doing Yah’s will, because that’s wholesome family entertainment. The kids get to have fun watching the various animals, your spouse is happy, you’re glad to be outdoors, etc. But what isn’t considered is the law of Yah, which you violated by doing several things, not least is spending money, doing your own pleasure, and most likely speaking idly on that set apart day.
This is one of the reasons why many individuals who simply call on the name of Yeshua but fail to keep Yah’s law, and therefore do the things that please him, will be surprised to learn that they have not qualified for the Kingdom. But Yah always sends a warning to steer those who purport to be his servants back on the right course, so they could truly be his servants.
21 Not everyone who says to me, Master, Master, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
