Morning Morsels 002: Unbelieving, False Teachers

Beware of false teachers who deny the master.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful Yah is. His words cannot come back void; not even the words he spoke through human representatives, like patriarchs, prophets, kings, and even emissaries, with their forewarnings, prophecies, and predictions concerning these last days.

One major prediction that astounds me in its sheer accuracy is that of unrighteous individuals who would creep in among the faithful and pervert the truth of Yah and even deny our savior and master Yahushua HaMashiach. These same poisonous souls act as though they serve and obey Yah while rejecting his son, but a careful review of their lives often reveals a shameful display of lawlessness, which they teach others, causing them to be lawless and unbelieving as well. But woe to those who are persuaded to follow in their path.

In the short epistle of Jude, we are warned about these false teachers, who existed during, and prior to, his own day. Jude writes:

3 Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the pure ones. 4 For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, unrighteous people, who pervert the grace of our Elohim into sensuality and deny our only Master of masters, Yahushua HaMashiach. 5 Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Yeshua, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.

—Jude 1:3 – 5
