Morning Morsels 044: The Upright and the Transgressor

Depending on your heart, Yah’s path will either be smooth or treacherous.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. There is a sharp distinction between the obedient and disobedient; between those who serve Yah and those who would rather worship idols (such as famous people, material things, false deities, or even themselves). For these two distinct groups, Yah’s ways are either a smooth path one can navigate without complaint—in the case of the upright servant—or else it is a treacherous path full of obstacles that one feels causes them to do nothing but stumble—in the case of the rebellious transgressor.

Whatever group you belong to will be determined by examining these things, for one company is wise in all their decisions, while the other is not; and one is discerning when it comes to this walk, while the other is not. And if you are wise and discerning you will know that only Yah is your source, therefore he is the only one you will turn to. But if you fall into the company of the rebellious transgressor, pray to Yah and ask him to heal you now, and consider this passage:

8 O Ephraim, what have I to do with idols? It is I who answer and look after you. I am like an evergreen cypress; from me comes your fruit. 9 Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of Yah are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.
