Morning Morsels 152: Corrupt Fruit Trees

There are those within true Israel whose only agenda is to part people from their money.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. There are those within true Israel—supposed teachers, elders, leaders with great influence—who have nothing more than an agenda to part people from their money. They will say and do pretty much anything to tickle the ear enough to get you to move to whatever beat they’re drumming.

It is not difficult for those familiar with their Scriptures and in tune with the Set Apart Spirit to identify who these people are, for they produce nothing but bad spiritual fruit. Their lessons do not lead to servants learning of ways to improve their relationship with Yah or strengthen their walk; lessons are merely filled with sensationalism and fluff derived from gross misinterpretations of Scripture. But none of that matters to them, because they are simply motivated by money, which is the deity they serve.

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.
