Morning Morsels 061: The Plans I Have for You

Yah established a set of grand plans for us.

Shalom, and happy morning to you. Any decent parent has a range of plans laid out for their children, some simple and short-term in scope, others far-reaching and grandiose. As parents, we want the best for our children; we want to see them grow and prosper and succeed on whatever field of life they enter.

How much more, then, does our Heavenly Father desire the best for us; how much does he desire to see us, his faithful children, succeed? What do you imagine his plans are for us? Be reminded, this is a supreme being who tore apart an entire nation to free his people from bondage; who parted a sea; and who, as the greatest act of sacrifice and mercy, sent his son to redeem a people, and all those joined to them.

Yah has made no secret of his deep love for the people of Israel, the direct descendants of his friend, Abraham, and his heirs Isaac and Jacob. From the time we became a nation, Yah established a set of grand plans for us, and he means to fulfill them all. As he said to Israel of old, he says to us today:

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares Yah, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
