Shalom, and happy morning to you. As dark, cruel, and evil as this world is, we are not to be overtaken by this as servants of Yah, for we look to a new world, a world centered on righteousness and comprised of an eternal Kingdom to which all nations and people will belong, serving under a righteous King.

That King is Yeshua, who was styled “the Son of Man” when he walked this earth. He was called “the Son of Man” so that the minds of the people would be drawn to the Scriptures, and a wonderful prophecy that supported everything he was working to establish. That prophecy also labels him “the Son of Man” and it foretells of a bright future that will see Yeshua ruling a worldwide Kingdom the righteous will flourish in. That prophecy is found in the Book of Daniel, and it reads thus:

13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. 14 And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

—Daniel 7:13 – 14
